Lazy Susan

this here is my little getaway.
when i need time alone and away from the business of school life, i retire to here for some quiet time with a book and some hot cocoa and a muffin or some yummy little munchies. sometimes, when i am being a real hermit i will putt sheets up on all sides of my bed and open the blinds on the window as my light source.
my sanctuary.

Wheelbarrows and Dozers

A day at school can be very boring especially when it comes to living on campus in dorms and there is just about no time to get away. well, me and Han Na, my Korean ex-roommate, and i have lots of fun just looking for things to do. this particular photo shoot took place at the beginning of the year. it supposed to be like a silent movie.

these just remind me so much of the spring which i was beginning to miss very much. now in the dead of winter, i want you to enjoy looking at these.

A Christmas Tradition

seeing as these are my Christmas pictures and it February now, i'm sure you can guess doesn't has their new years resolution filled out. i have 8 sibling and 2 haply married parents. every year all ten us us gather at the Paul house and eat, laugh, open presents, and take family portraits. this year, however, i was the only child to fly in making only five of us at home: Mom. Dad, Lindy, Henry, and Me. the other children were gone hither and yon and for one reason or another couldn't make the journey home. nevertheless i decided not to skit a beat and to take initiative and set up some family portraits my self. it was pretty simple; i set the camera up on a tripod, and smiled.

This Could Be You...

my school has opened up the option for me to enter the wonderful world of blogger.com, and here i am again!
after arriving on campus at the beginning of this school year

i spoke to Mr. Jenkin, my Pre-Calc teacher,

and he told me about the "Sharron Arts Center"

and about their art classes that happen throughout the school year and take place after school and in a nearby city.

it sounded pretty cool but being a dorm without access to a car or a license for that matter...how would i get there?
he then told me that he and his wife would do
everything that they could to get me there weekly
and i gladly accepted!
so here i am applying
for an after school program
at the Sharron Arts Center
in downtown Peterborough, NH.

only eight will be accepted out of the many that apply.
i guess i'm better safe than sorry and i’m going to give it a go!
...
just printed out the application

it has to be post marked by the 18th of August

i will be sending it in this Thursday.
knowing me it probably won’t leave the sea of dust under my bed for another two weeks.

well, wish me luck because here i go!
AAAAHHHHH!!
^^i just let out a little scream^^
